Fact #1: Research companies are paying people cash for answering surveys.
According to Wikipedia, companies spend millions of dollar every year for “survey search” – and that includes paying people to complete surveys.The surveys range from shopping behaviours, shampoo product selection to radio listening habits.
One time, a research company sent me a package with $5 inside it – asking me to complete the survey and return it the pre-stamped envelope!

So you can see why it’s a great time to be making money online with survey, because research companies are abandoning the good old “snail mail” surveys, and moving everything online.
Fact #2: You should never pay a “membership fee” to join paid survey websites – because it’s not legit.
You can make a decent amount of money answering surveys online (and the research companies do pay out, as you can see the checks above)
However, NEVER join the paid survey websites that requires a “membership fee” – this is a scam.
In reality, what you get is a directory of paid survey websites. A “booklet” so to speak.
A legit research company should never require people like you and I, a “fee” to answer their surveys!
With that said, answering surveys is a neat way to make extra money at home – all you need is Internet connection and you’re good to go.

It’s a good way to make money during your spare time while watching TV.
Are there any requirements to signing up?
Most companies tend to look for people who live in USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia. If you’re living China, India, or some small island, I’m afraid you’re out of luck.
Another factor depends on your age and gender — for example, you won’t be getting a pregancy pill survey if you’re a male. But regardless of your age or sex, I’m sure there are surveys waiting for you if you join enough research company websites.
Important: you have to be 18 or over. That’s all the requirements I can think of.
