How NOT to be a consumer sheep
This is a society full of excess. You already know that, so I don’t have to tell you about the over-sized SUVs, the cookie clutter mansions, and the storage rental industry (because people have so much crap)
You want to control your spending habit? Easy — just don’t spend money.
This means, not spending money on your coffee at Starbucks, buying beer or cigs, or the latest phones. Enjoy the more simple things in life! Like reading, hanging out, traveling.
I’ll tell you the real secret: live in your car for 1 week. Once you realize that you don’t need anything to be happy, because once you live in a car you got freedom: to do what you damn please, anytime, anywhere.
And what is this crap — people with 40 different shoes? Or 10 different winter jackets? Seems it an aweful waste to me.
But you know what — who cares, they can be blind consumer sheep if they want to. They drown in debt but you won’t. Why? Because you can control yourself. Get into the habit of not spending a penny.
