Rules to Life 4: Be a cheap bastard

Rules to life 4: Be a cheap bastard

Everything great in life is for free or cheap. For example, having the pleasure of drinking coffee in the morning (home brew) feels great instead of going to those StarBucks and wasting $5 per cup.

If you drink 5 times per week, that adds up to $1300 a year. Wow, seems like a waste of money to me.

Also — here is another useful tip. When you use tiolet paper to wipe your ass, you’re basically throwing away money right?

So a good tip is to go to the mall, and “borrow” tiolet paper from their wash room stall, bring it home and use it!

If you feel bad, you can walk to the mall everytime you take a dump (you’re getting exercise and you don’t waste water at home!)

Basically, have a cheap mentality. You’ll save TONS of money during your life time, feel happy without consumerism goods, and enjoy the simple things in life.

(For example, instead of sitting at home playing your expensive video game console you can hang out with friends)

Being cheap rocks, because you save tons of money, not stress over money, not in debt, and a tons of other benefit. All you gotta do is fight the consumerism urge.
