Why College Is (NOT) important
College is awesome because …
1. It trains the human into obedient workers! Hey, we need people who are willing to drag their ass to their office right? Absolutely nothing wrong with obedient workers. That’s how the pyramid was built and great wall of China.
2. Party hardy, and earn a college degree while you’re at it. Have fun, make new friends. College is just High School version 2.0
3. Get into debt. This is where the slavery cycle starts … first the debt, then the 9 to 5 nose grind to get it paid off. But wait! It doesn’t stop there. Then there is the mortgage and car loan … and student loan that takes 10 years to pay off.
4. Because everyone else is doing it. Follow the mass. Like lemmings running over a cliff and into the sea. Fact is, college is a cash cow for the economy. It keeps the unemployment rate down because these 20 years old are “students”, not “unemployed, unproductive members of society”.
5. Cuz college is highly educational. Especially studying half baked subjects, like Native Indian Literature or worse yet, History.
College is worthless for the most part. Teens are clueless to it, adults know it (deep down but they’re unwilling to admit) and those who run behind the scene giggle in glee after they collect the student tuition because it’s the easiest money they ever made. An easy hustle.
Don’t confuse schooling with education. School trains to become an obedient worker. Education is timeless and priceless. Makes you think, not punch in the clock.
So yeah kids, go to college. It’s cool.
