On that basis evolution has failed. Darwin himself stated that if “missing link” fossils are not found then his theory would not be valid. In all the years since he published his findings, not ONE of these fossils has turned up. Statistics are fine, but the statiscal probability that a “primordial soup” of chemicals somehow gave rise to life is so low as to be deemed impossible by many respected chemists and biologists.
And since that is the necessary precursor of the evolutionary process espoused by atheist scientists, it’s in deep trouble before it ever gets out of the box. I predict evolution will be eventually be buried alongside the flat earth theory.
The reason it is has held sway in the scientific community and in the public imagination for as long as it has has is that it allows us to ignore the obvious fact that what we can observe had a beginning that required a creator. Design is inherent in all of creation.
