How your self image defines your life
Your self image defines your goals. Your goals and routines make up your life style. That’s why some people are mediocre while others are living their dreams. Literally.
What’s interesting in the past year or so is that I set goals that are beyond my thinking even 2 years ago.
For example, in the past 12 months I had two offers for two semi high paying job (not bad for a high school drop out), made some money with my Internet Business, won a bit more money playing decent stake poker (3/6), traveled across the country a couple of times and did a bunch more things that I wouldn’t even dreamed of 4 years ago.
So this got me thinking, how do people determine how high they want to set their goals? Some want to be a millionaire business man, while someone else would be content making average salary as an officer worker or something.
It all has to do with the person’s self image! Duh.
If you think yourself as normal and average, then most likely you will have normal and average goals. If you think better of yourself, you’ll aim high high high! Bang! All the way to the stars.
Right now I literally know I can do anything to my heart’s desire because I’m a powerful spiritual being living in a earthly experience. And so are you. Talk about huge self image boost. But of course, you may find other ways to raise your self image, whatever it may be.
Besides from law of physics, reality is negotiable. To quote Timothy Ferriss: “Bend reality with your will”.
So watch your thoughts, reflect how your self image is, improve your self image because it affects how you set your goal, which in turns affect how you live your life.
