I don’t know, it seems kinda weird to me that a guy would befriend some chick for 3 months — even 3 years — and then try to make a move by jumping from the friend zone into the dating zone. It’s a hazardous jump that can result in bruised ego and embarrassment.
I personally have tried that … IN MIDDLE SCHOOL.
Anyone past the age of 9 shouldn’t bother getting into the friend zone, unless he truly just wants to be “friends” with a woman, which is cool.
It all comes from the mindset that everything is transisent — you know the relationship is going to end, sooner or later. Some people get caught up on this and say “why bother having a relationship, I’LL JUST HUMP MY STUFF BEAR!” (okay, maybe not …) but the joy of the relationship (besides bragging rights) is simply getting to know the other person.
To any guys out there who are lacking in their dating life I highly recommend buying a couple of dating ebooks (The Art of Approach is good), and then try to do some cold approach yourself. It’s fun, even the Japanese made it into a sport called “Nampa” — which roughly translate into street pick up.
