Walking for personal growth

I walk everyday. Do you? I walk at least for 45 minutes, just walking alone on my own leisure time. Sometimes I stare off into the distant, other times I just walk to think.
Either way, walking is an excellent way to THINK clearly. Maybe you have a goal in mind, or a problem that needs to be solved. Walking will provide cut off the unnecessary distraction for some good old fashion thinking.
Also you can use it as a form of meditation. Or just walk down to the coffee shop with no goal in mind. Maybe you see a hot brunette drinking her latte. Start a conversation, ya know, whatever.
So give this little habit a try. Just go out there and walk, breathe in the polluted air and walk. It’s excellent for relieving stress also.

You forgot the key element:
leave the iPod at home!
So many people live with them things blaring in their heads all day, they’ve lost the idea of quiet. The movie Waterworld sucked, but it had one good part, when Kostner’s character told the little girl to shut up for once, and listen to the sound of the world.
You brought up a good point, MTS. I ASSUMED people would leave their ipods at home if they’re talking long walks alone.
