12 hours at the casino. Up $700.
Awww … Laura is so adorable. She’s like an Anime character.
More like 15 hours! People usually ask me how much money did I lose after staying at the casino for 15 hours. I say, none. I went up $700 in profit ;D
I don’t play any game in the casino except for poker (Texas Holdem) which is definitely a game that requires more skills then luck. At the surface level it appears to be a blend of both, that’s why you have players who are loser in the long run but they keep coming back for more cause of the lack factor.
For example, there was this one guy in his 50s at the table where I was playing who lacked the skills, but he made up for luck. He won like $200+ at 3/6 table, and his chips was building up. Then it went down by half, then went back up again. Then at the end of the night he walked away from the table without any chips left.
But these old guys playing poker don’t really care, because they’re playing poker for the fun and excitement instead of profit. They’re rich retired old folks, so was is losing $400 on a weekend is no big deal to them.
I was the chip leader all night with my mountain of chips. I had around $800+ worth of one dollar chips, so you can imagine how big it was. I even gave it a name, calling it the “Great Wall of China”.
In the long run, to make a profit in poker it’s skills.
Then there was female dealer which who worked at the other casino, she went to this casino at like 3 in the morning to play for fun. I have the hots for her, and we flirted for a couple of hours before she went to work.
And then there was another hot female player at the table, this Asian woman that looked like a hot school teacher . I had the hots for her too. In fact she caught me staring at her a couple times at the table. I didn’t flirt with her much, because her 250 pounds, 5’11 husband was standing right behind me, watching the table. He looked like a mean night club bouncer.
I remember playing heads up with her, and she’s checking. I go super aggressive and keep raising. “No free cards, baby” I said to her. She was one of those recreational player who played for fun, at the end of the night she walks away with no chips.
At what point call it a night and cash out? The experts agree that you should stop when you’re playing bad poker. Everyone lose big hands to another big hand, it’s no big deal. I noticed I was losing a few big pots with badly played hands so I cash out and call it a night.
By the time I got out of casino I went 24 hours without sleep. I collapsed into unconsciousness, er, took a power nap at some university campus.
1 hour later I’m refreshed! So I went to the casino where the hot dealer was working and I played on the table where she is dealing for laughs and giggles. I buy in $30 at the 3/6 table, play poker hands as bad as I can and lost it within 15 minutes of playing. You know, just for fun and giggles ;)
All in all it was a good weekend.
