Must read this before you go to college

Let’s get this straight: college is awesome for partying, making friends, getting connections and hook up. It’s like a paid vacation straight out of your parent’s pockets. And it’s under the guise of “knowledge and education”.

But college is a great place for learning, right?

Don’t kid yourself.

There is something serious wrong with college, and at first I couldn’t put my finger on it. Luckily for me I chose not to go to college, and dropped out of high school one credit shy of graduating (and no, I don’t regret it)

College/university suffer from this disease called Data Smog, which is basically learning useless or trivia information. Anything from learning “hidden meanings” in obscure literature to other inconsequential things like child learning history.

I’m sure anyone who went to college can attest that they learned a lot of useless bull shit in their first, second and even third year. And of course, it is justified that the course is the foundation or it’s needed for the degree, or whatever bullshit they come up with.

People keep kidding themselves that if they keep earning more degrees they’ll get a better job. But do you really want a cubicle job? Apparently getting an undergrad (4 years) isn’t enough, so they have to earn a “graduate degree” (another 2 to 4 years)

If you just graduated high school, skip college or at least take a year off to think it over. Go to college if you want to become a doctor, lawyer, teacher or whatever field that requires a formal degree, otherwise feel free to skip college.

Remember to keep it real and don’t fall into the fear based thinking.
