A millionaire by 20, Part III
A year later and everyone went to high school. Most disperse to different schools in the region, while I chose to stay in a small ghetto school full of funny smelling kids.
Quang went to a technical high school known for it’s computer stuff. I don’t know much about him save for one encounter 6 months into the school year.
Quang and his “gang” of 15 years old came to my school a visit because he wants to “stab” this other kid for talking crap about him. Quang dressed in black clothing with a nice suit-like jacket. He also had dyed bleach hair with long bangs. He looked like someone straight out of an Asian gangster movie.
Such a change from a socially awkward kid a year ago, who kinda dressed like a dork. The cops showed up and he got arrested, but the guy didn’t want to press charge on him so he got let go free.

So apparently Quang dropped out of high school, came back a year later, and dropped back out again in the span of two years.. He spent his early grade 9 years with juvenile delinquents, an Asian gang of some sorts. When he dropped out he worked at a minimum wage job while gambling at pool halls, and just … hanging out there and socializing.
Doesn’t look like a bright future for this 15 years old.
But alas, there is always redemption, about a year later ….
