Indoctrination on YTV, don’t let your kids watch it!
The show “Want Fries With That” is a propaganda machine funded by McDonald and the other mega cooperations to show that working in a grease ridden restaurant is ‘fun’.
For those of you who don’t know, Want Fries With That is a comedy show that takes place in a fast food restaurant. It programs the young minds that working in McDonald or Wendy’s is the norm, and that you should conform … and while you’re at it, flipping burgers and waiting tables is fun! Just look at the casts of Want Fries With That.
The other night I was watching this show on YTV. I’m not sure what is the show called, but the content of the show was grotesque.
It was at camp and there were boys and girls, around age 12-13. Through out the show there were plenty of sexual innuendos (“Hey aren’t you going to stay?” said a boy when a girl left his tent)
Its as if the show was a indoctrination program showing how little boys and girls should mate — teaching them social behavior, however much its very distorted.
And its a clever design for advertisements, too. The preteens donned Nike shoes and GAP sweaters.
I think the show sets a paradigm for how tweens — the audience — should behave — in a lewd, sexual matter. If the major corporations can grasp the minds of young people who minds are not developed yet, they can fill it up with any junk they want.
So beware, kiddies.
